Breaking
Bad is an American action packed crime drama TV program created as well
as produced by 'Vince Gilligan'. The show originally aired in January

The story is based round the character 'Walter White' (played by Bryan Cranston), who is a school chemistry teacher who is struggling financially, as well as physically as he is diagnosed with incurable lung cancer at the very beginning of the series. Now realizing that he may not have
much time in life, he turns to the life of crime in order to help
secure his financial future, by producing as well as selling 'crystal
meth'. but in order to do this he must team with a former student of his

The show was that popular it reached 3rd in AMC's all time shows:

- Turn
- Hell on Wheels

hitting a grand total of 10.3 million viewers for the grand series
finale. Not did it only easily beat all other entertainment show on the
night, AMC charged around about $400,000 for a 30second commercial
during the finale.
Audience & Reach
- AMC reached more than 95 million subscribers.
- The 2010/11 season was AMC’s strongest ever for adults 25-54 and 18-49. AMC reached more than 43 million adults 25-54, ranking ninth.
- The median age of AMC’s original series viewer is 45.
- AMC’s audience skews 55% male, 45% female.
- Season 4 of Breaking Bad averaged 1.9 million viewers, a 23% increase vs. Season 3.
- It had a social media presence of 2.3 million Facebook fans.
Overall,
I feel there is a presence for a series like this as it would fit in
rather well with the target demographic, even though it would be a
slight change to E4's 16-35 year old demographic, but judging from the
series Misfit and many others it would work quite well.
Logo Research:
Universal:
The Universal is extremely well known and established around the
global, from its early days in the 1900's and since then has created
many world known movies including 'The Mummy', Fast and Furious (Series
of them) and Hulk.
The
logo really explains itself in the instance it is called 'Universal'
meaning it has been shown to everyone who are in the universe have heard
of them, since they have been founded and before. Also, the use of the earth in space tells us that they are simply 'out of the world', as well as saying that they make movies beyond our beliefs, and imaginations. Furthermore, the letter are bold and sliver, which may be to shows representations of their quality of work, as well as their own set standards. Also, it could represent the way they are dominate the movie industry as well as saying their global establishment e.g. the stars are smaller then them, so they may be opponent company's. Also, them stating their 100th anniversary show their dominance in the industry.
DreamWorks: The Logo presents a young boy who is appearing o fish into clouds sitting on the edge of the moon, now I know that sound a bit
odd but it makes for a good logo. Firstly, the logo presents that the
catch dreams and make them into a reality, as I feel that 'DreamWorks'
are presenting this idea through the boy fishing for dreams, however
even though they're a company who strongly link with a target audience
of children they still suggest that you're never to old for them as the
boy is fishing. Also, the company name 'DreamWorks' is bold to stand out
to grab the attention of the viewer in order to imprint their name so
that they aren't forgotten, and the clouds add a mystery to the company
and that they can do the unpredictable.
Paramount: Is extremely well known and established around the global, from its early days in the 1910's and since then has created many world known movies including 'Thor', 'The Godfather' or even Terminator. over time becoming arguably the best and biggest movie studio in the world.
